The lung and the green soul of Taormina, it was built between 1890 and 1899 by Lady Trevelyan on a steep slope, later leveled, just outside the town walls.
The lady was actively involved in the project, largely because of her interest in exotic and rare flowers and plants, as well as because of her dream of creating those quaint oriental-style gazebos, later called The Beehives or Victorian Follies, in which Lady Trevelyan loved to drink tea in the company of her guests.
A special atmosphere, shady alleys and flowerbeds full of flowers – this is the perfect place to relax on a bench in the shade and fully enjoy the beauty of the fabulous postcard landscape.
